Most global hiring software is a brochure in front of a lawyer. We wanted the opposite: a clean piece of software you can actually use, sitting underneath the lawyers and accountants who already know their job.
Contract work is how most companies meet most talent for the first time. The money around it is surprisingly broken. Contracts live in Google Docs. Invoices arrive as PDFs. Payments take days. Audit trails are screenshots in a folder named final_final_v2.
Vectis is a small, opinionated ledger for that surface. Four contract types, a six state lifecycle, an invoice that carries its whole story, a wallet per organization, and a withdrawal system that does not lose rows.
Early. The backend ships first. The public API is four routes. The dashboard is growing week by week. Roadmap items are labelled as roadmap on the site, not disguised as features.
